"Disaster Assistance" is still working diligently in Galveston. They fed 909 meals today. Several people from the Lake Jackson Church as well as some of the Sojourners helped Mike today. We have been able to continue this good work because so many of you have made this financially possible. As you can imagine this work brings great positive recognition for the Church of Christ, but providing 7, 8, 900 meals is very work intensive as well as being expensive. We could not do this without you. Bible studies and follow up with people we have helped would not be possible without your help. God is being glorified, Christ is being magnified and the Church is being greatly appreciated and recognized by it's careing concern for people. And.... "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care".
